Welcome to The Adventure

 

The Watcon Lake Michigan Surf Ride for 2018 will be the 4th Annual event to provide a loosely structures gathering for Personal Watercraft enthusiasts.  It takes place on the shores of Lake Michigan at Pennoyer Park in Kenosha, WI.


The dates are August 25, 26 and 27, 2018. 
 


Important Information

Schedule

Check in for the event starts Friday, with open riding and getting introduced to the surf on the Lake.  A meet and greet will be held at a local restaurant. 

Saturday will be the main Surf Ride day with opening ceremonies, presentation of the flag, group photos, The Big Air freestyle event, BBQ dinner on the beach and a raffle of prizes.

Sunday will be a more relaxed day of riding and enjoying the beach.

Event Background

We offer an event for all types of riders, from first timers, off the hook Freestylers, racers and all in between.  It is a great chance to meet others in the sport.


Check In will be open all 3 days of the event from 8am to 5pm. Please do not take your gear to the beach until you have checked in, signed the release form and have your watercraft tagged. 

The cost to participate is $40 per person. This includes your wristband, event sticker for your watercraft, site parking for the weekend and unlimited access to the beach during operating hours.

 You will need a wristband on and an event sticker on the Watercraft to be in our area of operation, per our Insurance carrier. The area of operation will be identified with white perimeter buoys. This is a permit event, you are required to fill out all sign-up forms. The event is only open to participants who are registered for the ride. You DO NOT need a sanctioning body membership for this recreational ride.
